This image was taken from microfilm #1195564 from the family history center. I believe this was Taufen (births or baptisms) in the Jahr (year) 1757. I was searching for Johann Adam Befus born about 1756 according to census records of Yagodnaya Polyana, Russia. I do not know his father's name, he died before reaching Yagodnaya Polyana. The mother's name was listed as Anna Elisabeth. All of the Befus descendants from Yagodnaya Polyana, are a descendant of this (Johann) Adam Befus. Here is what the entry below said in German: Getaufte im Jahr 1757. Am 9ten Januar wurde Joh. Peter Beefuss ein Sohn gebohren und bey der H. Taufe welche am 11ten geschahe von Johann Adam Beefuss von Reuter, Johann Adam benahmet. Here is what Alan Hergert and David Schmidt translated from the entry below: Baptisms in 1757. On January 9th a son was born to Joh. Peter Beefuss and was named Johann Adam in the holy baptism performed on the 11th by the godfather Johann Adam Beefuss of Reuter(?). On the next page is the birth entry for Julianna Befuss, his sister.
